Business English for EAL & SEN Students

Designed to help you understand technical key terms

English as an Additional Language: Business is a demanding subject for anyone, but if English is not your first language, then it’s especially stretching. There are several hundred critical Key Terms even at GCSE level and often the pronunciation is unusual (like tertiary) or similar words have quite different meanings, like Stakeholder and Shareholder.

Catherine has worked with numerous EAL students for over 20 years and has extensive experience with Spanish, French, Dutch & German students. Catherine is a certified by the TEFL Academy and has also worked internationally for the previous ten years, as a Form Tutor, Invigilator, Cover Supervisor and also as in the SEN department.

Catherine is also open to support students with Special Educational Needs or those looking to hone their language skills.
